We have the procedures of achievement upside down. Typically we come up with our to-do lists, our bucket lists, and our strategic plans — all the stuff we want to have, get, accomplish, and experience outside of ourselves. All of those aspirations are being driven by an innate desire to feel a certain way.
So what if we get clear on how we actually want to feel within ourselves, and then we design our to-do lists, set our goals, and write out our bucket lists?
How do you want to feel when you look at your schedule for the week?
When you get dressed in the morning?
When you walk through the door of your studio or your office?
When you pick up the phone?
When you cash the check, accept the award, finish your masterpiece, make the sale, or fall in love?
How do you want to feel?
You will leave day one knowing your “Core Desired Feelings” - a guidance system for your decision-making. A GPS for your soul.
We’ll look at perceptions around the value of feelings, especially in relationship to ambition, external approval, goal setting, and self-love and respect.
We’ll examine how we drive and strive, and see where in our lives we experience freedom - and where we want more of it. You will be guided through 5 life areas, to explore your most desired feelings in:
LIVELIHOOD & LIFESTYLE
BODY & WELLNESS
CREATIVITY & LEARNING
RELATIONSHIPS & SOCIETY
ESSENCE & SPIRITUALITY
This is where clarity meets action.
In the next level of the Desire Map process, you will:
1. Explore perceptions of goals and goal-setting in relationship to ambition, external approval, and “success.”
Most people will identify at least one pattern of behavior related to goal-setting that has been restricting their capacity for freedom. In this workshop, we create a sacred space that will help you meaningfully reorient your relationship with goals into one that helps you do, have, and experience what you most desire to feel.
2. Identify a handful of goals or intentions that are aligned with your core desired feelings and create a plan to support them.
You may want not want to set any goals. You might want to set one hundred goals that are attached to precise measurables. All of that is totally good with me. I am here to support you on your journey.
